Chris & Angie make up AngelBear Customs. We met in 2017. Since we first got together we have shared many talents and interests. When we first met they went to many craft shows and antique markets.

Both having a love of antiques, toys, and the arts, we started making and selling Functional Art Lamps, and “creepy doll art” in 2018 we began making lamps out of antiques, toys, horror characters, creepy dolls, collectibles, and yes even Care Bears!

In 2019, we were married in a very intimate wedding in a small castle-style home.

Our love continued to grow for antiques and toys, and we began selling lamps, antiques, and toys in several antique markets throughout Maryland and Pennsylvania. After a few years, we thought it would be fun to open a happening and fun, diner-themed weekend hot dog stand. We ended up being quite popular and people would drive for 2+ hours just to see us! We were a huge hit with kids and adults alike and had many cool events. Sadly, we eventually closed after 3 years, due to increased food costs, and decreased traffic at the marketplace where we were located.

After that, we had a lot more time on our hands, so I wanted to get back into collecting my beloved Care Bears!! Chris loves to take my dreams and make them a reality (but on steroids!) He made some custom shelves for me to display all my Care Bears figures, vehicles, and playsets, as you can see in my first blog post “Testing the Clouds”

We painted the wall sky blue and he brought Care-a-Lot to life in our home. It became popular in several Facebook groups and kind of blew up from there. Every little dream turned into a solution for Care Bear collectors in many parts of the world! In addition to our full-time jobs, we work together to bring life to the cartoon that has won so many hearts over the years!
